Abstract

Innovation ecosystems became a well-known concept since the main attention for communities’ engagement and innovation creation increased. Due to the engagement of different type of stakeholders, the innovation development and organizational growth could be seen rather as a complex and dynamic system of processes which highlighted the technology usage and the emergence of new type of ecosystems. Although there are various evidences that suggest the bounding linkage between innovation and stakeholders’ involvement into innovation creation, there still remains not fully explored how companies exploit social responsibility in innovation development. Thus, this paper aims to identify the main linkage between innovation development and social dimension within corporate social responsibility in terms of social inclusion and commitment. Consequently, there will be provided an extensive framework, which aims to explore the linkage between stakeholders, levels of commitment, and required actions.
