Digitale Lösungen mit Potenzial: Impulse und Beispiele zur Förderung von nachhaltigem Konsumentenverhalten

Zusammenfassung

Die Konsequenzen des menschengemachten Klimawandels erfordern ein Umdenken in allen Bereichen der Gesellschaft. Daher wird auch von Unternehmen der Konsumgüterindustrie zunehmend erwartet, dass sie ihren ökologischen Fußabdruck reduzieren und für den gesamten Lebenszyklus ihrer Produkte Verantwortung übernehmen. Dies ist besonders in der Konsumphase schwierig, da Unternehmen nur einen begrenzten Einfluss auf das Konsumentenverhalten haben. Auf Basis der „Attitude-Behaviour Gap“ beleuchtet der Beitrag daher Barrieren für nachhaltiges Konsumverhalten und hinterfragt, inwiefern digitale service-orientierte Ansätze angewandt werden können, um nachhaltiges Konsumentenverhalten zu fördern. Anhand des entwickelten 3 V-Modells werden verschiedene Beispiele digitaler Lösungen in Bezug auf ihr Nachhaltigkeitspotenzial und ihre Einsatzmöglichkeiten in den verschiedenen Konsumphasen diskutiert. Abschließend werden Management-Implikationen zur Gestaltung entsprechender digitaler Lösungen abgeleitet.
