Porsche has unveiled the Taycan Turbo GT and the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package. Both vehicles briefly achieve peak outputs of more than 810 kW (1,100 hp).

The new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT can be recognized by the front spoiler with aeroblades or the adaptive spoiler at the rear, on whose spoiler lip a Gurney in visible carbon is attached. The Matrix LED headlights can be upgraded to HD Matrix LED headlights at no extra cost. The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT has been lightened by up to 75 kg compared to the Taycan Turbo S. For example, carbon is used for the B-pillar trims, the upper shells on the door mirrors and the side skirt inlays. The full bucket seats are made of carbon fiber, a lightweight luggage compartment is also installed and the electric closing aid for the tailgate is no longer required. The electric adaptive sports seats Plus can be ordered at no extra charge. A sports steering wheel with center markings and the Sport Chrono package are standard.

In both Taycan Turbo GT models, pulse inverter with a maximum current of 900 amperes are used on the rear axle, in which silicon carbide is used to reduce shift losses. This gives both cars 580 kW (789 hp) of power, with Launch Control up to 760 kW (1,033 hp) of overboost power or up to 815 kW (1109 hp) for two seconds according to the peak power measurement method. The Taycan Turbo GT takes 2.3 seconds to sprint from zero to 100 km/h and 2.2 seconds with the Weissach package. The top speeds are 290 and 305 km/h respectively.

Weissach Package Turns the Taycan into a Two-Seater

The Turbo GT is equipped with the dynamic package as standard. It includes the Porsche Active Ride suspension with GT-specific tuning and performance summer tires on 21" lightweight forged wheels with relief-milled spokes. The lightweight brakes are based on the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake. The optional Weissach package provides additional aerodynamic and lightweight construction measures. This includes air deflectors on the underbody, a new front diffuser and a fixed rear wing in visible carbon fiber with wing supports resistant to bodyshell construction. A lightweight carbon panel replaces the rear seats. Further weight has been saved by eliminating insulation material. Prices for the Taycan Turbo GT and the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package start at 240,000 euros each in Germany.
