Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag skizziert die Entwicklung einer internationalen Agenda für globale Gesundheitspolitik unter Berücksichtigung eines Wandels innerhalb der Terminologie von internationaler zu globaler Gesundheit. Hierdurch zeigt er die Bedeutung des Politikfeldes für die Disziplin Internationale Politik auf. Empirisch fokussieren die Ausführungen auf internationale Kooperationsstrukturen innerhalb einer Global Health Governance. Um den bestehenden Forschungsstand zu sinnvoll zu ergänzen, lenkt der Artikel sein Augenmerk auf die globale Gesundheitssicherheit, ein noch junges Handlungs- und Analysefeld innerhalb der internationalen Gesundheitspolitik.
