New brand design for the city SUV: Renault has given the Captur a visual and technical makeover. The small car is available with five different engines.

The Renault Captur is 4,239 mm long, 1,797 mm wide and 1,575 mm high. One year after the facelift of the Clio, the city SUV has been given Renault's new design language. The front end, which is now significantly more powerful, features narrower LED headlights, a narrow radiator slit, daytime running lights with a diamond design and the new brand logo. Not much has changed in the side view and at the rear of the Captur.

In the interior, the Captur gets new upholstery covers and a redesigned dashboard. The display in the cockpit is up to 10.25" in size, the vertical infotainment touchscreen measures 10.4". Depending on the equipment, the OpenR Link multimedia system with integrated Google is also available, which works with Android Automotive 12. Renault has also given the small car a completely new electronics architecture. It is intended to enable new driver assistance systems, including predictive hybrid driving and Active Driver Assist for automated driving at level 2.

Renault Captur Facelift Launches in June

In Germany, the new Renault Captur will be available with five different engines, including the hybrid version E-Tech Full Hybrid 145. All versions benefit from the revised chassis and recalibrated power steering. For the first time, the Captur will also be available in the "Esprit Alpine" version in addition to the "Evolution" and "Techno" equipment levels. As before, the new Renault Captur will be built at the Valladolid plant and will be launched in Germany from June 2024.
