Since 2022, Edag and EintrachtTech, the digital subsidiary of Eintracht Frankfurt, have had a partnership focusing on holistic digitalization. Among other things, the two partners are currently working on a project to carry out research into an intelligently connected city. There, a multifunctional, highly automated robot vehicle called the Citybot is operated on the grounds of the Waldstadion Frankfurt, and it performs mobility, transportation, and service tasks. In our ATZ interview, Edag's COO Harald Keller explains the challenges involved in implementing the project.
Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Harald Keller (born in 1963) has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Managing Director of Edag Engineering GmbH in Fulda since June 1, 2019. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Keller began his career in 1992 at Schimanski Lenktechnik in the field of logistics and profit center management, before taking on various roles at Edag between 1995 and 2007. From 2007 to 2010, he was CTO at Frimo Group, from 2011 to 2013 he was CTO at Fehrer, and from 2013 to 2016 he was Chief Executive Officer at MBtech Group. From 2017 to 2019, Keller was Executive Vice President Vehicle Development at Edag.
