It’s the intersection between tools providing observability and analytics in the product area (Product Ops) and tools providing observability within software engineering and operations (DevOps). At this intersection, it is often the DCXE’s role to elegantly and effectively link the tools together to provide a quicker path to product insights and issue resolution. We called this work earlier the practice of shifting right (get insight from your customers) and shifting left (find issues quicker at the root of where they occur).
