ABSTRACT
The development of modern information technology has brought innovative ideas to education and promoted the rapid development of smart education. This paper analyses the differences between traditional and smart education through the changes in teaching and learning styles and the teaching environment. The relevant interpretation of smart education puts forward a conceptual framework for a smart education system. Three core elements for building a smart education system are summarized: smart learning, smart teaching, and a smart learning environment, and these three elements are studied and analyzed.
