Zusammenfassung

Die Zahl der Coaches wächst weltweit rasant. Englischsprachige Forschungspublikationen legen nahe, dass von professionellen Coaches erwartet wird, dass sie Supervision in Anspruch nehmen. Aus einer internationalen Perspektive bietet dieser Artikel einen Überblick über die Ansichten zur Supervision für Coaches, basierend auf forschungsbasierten Erfahrungen. Er unterstreicht die Bedeutung von Coach- und Supervisorenverbänden bei der Förderung der Praxis der Coachsupervision, einschließlich der Entwicklung von Kompetenzen und Ausbildung in der Coachsupervision und der Organisation von Coachsupervisoren selbst. Dies ist eine weitere Herausforderung für professionelle Supervisoren.

Englischsprachige Publikationen verwenden coaching supervision (Grant 2012; Hawkins et al. 2019; Turner und Palmer 2019), coach’s coach (Downey 2003), supervision in coaching (Passmore 2011) und coach supervision (DeFilippo 2013; Long 2019; Van Reenen 2015). Zudem gibt es verschiedene Definitionen, vgl. Bachkirova et al. (2011, 2020).
