Abstract

In the period of 2018–2020 researchers from six countries conducted an international study on 1400 students from twelve universities to compare their attitude towards the family businesses as an opportunity for career development. The research has been done within the international academic network INTERGEN in the countries of Albania, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Russia and Serbia—three of them are members of the European Union, while the other three countries are non-EU members. The purpose of this paper is to discuss if the students are willing to choose family business as an opportunity for their career development. The object of the research is focused on the students, while the subject of the research is to study their attitude towards the family businesses. The students have given their answers through a standardized questionnaire. Thus, it is possible to deliver some comparative discussions on the base of the related findings.
