Abstract

In this review article we are presenting a survey on position based routing protocols. We have classified systematically the different protocols into two categories, the infrastructure based and infrastructure less routing protocols. We have analyzed the working, architecture and application areas of Vehicular Ad hoc Network. A comparative study is also performed in each protocol by taking different quality parameters with similar routing protocols of same category.
