Zusammenfassung

Die aktuelle indische Regierung sowie Nachfolgeregierungen müssen sich strukturimmantenten Herausforderung stellen. Einfach ausgedrückt heißt es: Sie müssen sich darauf fokussieren die Nachfrage nach Arbeit mit der Problematik des Angebots an Arbeitsqualität zu lösen. Damit ist es notwendig, dass ein Entwicklungspfad eingeschlagen wird, der ein beschäftigungsintensives Wachstum zulässt und dieses mit spezifischen sozialpolitischen Maßnahmen begleitet wird. Das erfordert eine entsprechend ordnungspolitische Rahmensetzung, in der die Wirtschaftspolitik es ermöglicht, dass z. B. das verarbeitende Gewerbe gefördert wird, die Rolle der ländlichen Bevölkerung adressiert wird und dafür gesorgt wird, dass eine Veränderung des Beschäftigungsmusters entsprechend erfolgt.
