Treiber der Corporate Social Responsibility im deutschen Mittelstand: Die Rolle der Unternehmerfamilie

Zusammenfassung

Die Rolle der sozialen Verantwortung in Unternehmen wird immer wichtiger, wurde aber bislang zumeist für Großunternehmen untersucht. Neuere Forschungen empfehlen die Ausweitung auf den von Familienunternehmen geprägten Mittelstand. In diesem Beitrag wird deshalb ein auf der Systemtheorie basierendes Konstrukt, welches die Wechselbeziehung zwischen den Subsystemen Familie und Firmen betrachtet, verwendet: die Family Influence Familiness Scale. Dieses wird mit Corporate Social Responsibility im Mittelstand in Zusammenhang gesetzt. Empirisch zeigt der Beitrag auf, dass sich die Identität der Familienmitglieder mit dem Unternehmen als auch die Familien-Mitarbeiter-Bindung positiv auf die unternehmerischen CSR-Aktivitäten auswirken, während der Informationsaustausch eine negative Beziehung aufweist. Insgesamt implizieren die Ergebnisse, dass sich neue Forschungen in diesem Bereich auf die Unterschiede der Länder, Kulturen und Innovationen konzentrieren sollten.
